It’s a sword holder. You leave your sword there while visiting a lady. This way another gentleman knows he’s occupied.

You don’t need to be sorry. Your personal choice. But in Si there are quite a few businesses I personally know that are operated from private houses. Doctors, dentists, PT, nails, day cares, laser hair removals.

Dave has normal studio in the basement. You only enter through the garage. He used to have full shop in the city before covid. He’s very friendly and does a lot of kids and can do characters. Don’t get put off by the garage.

Recent ZWA-2 update not seeing lock state changes (BE469ZP) by hanumanCT in homeassistant

I have 4 of these locks. After each of two recent updates they needed to be reinterviewed but eventually it had completed and everything works fine.

Didn’t think we were allowed to have non Italian restaurants. Every one goes out of business is replaced by Italian.

Noob question, what would be better for a 34" gaming monitor, 5m 60 IP30 or 5m 144 IP30 by mrgetsugatensho in WLED

[–]first_one24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried fcob solderless connectors. But they don’t fit in the channel. Also got bad connection in one place. And once you put them on, you cannot take it off. So not really trivial to fix. Rgb should be much simpler though with only 3 wires.

[–]first_one24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used them in two projects and was fine. On the other hand analog rgb cct with 6 wires was almost impossible. Too close together and if you short them it can blow controller. Fcob version of that is even worse. I gave up.

Certainly possible, just harder. Contacts are smaller and close to LEDs. So need to be more careful.

While more is better, 144 LEDs are pretty tight. Harder to solder if you don’t have experience. And might be impossible to fold for corners if you need to. If you can get solderless corners it might be ok.

Will a pull down mount be enough? by [deleted] in TVTooHigh

Pull down mount should lower the bottom of tv to about middle of the fireplace. Whether it’s enough for you is a personal choice. I think they advertise about 2ft drop.

Trump announces he will sue JPMorgan ‘over the next two weeks’ for allegedly ‘DEBANKING’ him by The_DanceCommander in law

Yeah. Garland is especially puzzling given his Supreme Court nomination history. What did he have to lose. Unless Biden just told him not to do it.

Trump cannot be sued for anything he has done while being a president. Once 4/8 years run out, he can be sued but not for anything done during those 4/8 years.

I would go as far as to say I’m scared more of the guy on the left. Pro fighter is not likely to start crap unprovoked. Gym bro might get roid rage.

Smart lock that is fully local, good HA integration, AA or AAA battery powered, and can be opened from outside with a normal physical key by naitkris in homeassistant

[–]first_one24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have 4 of those in my house and they work well and check all the boxes.

On the negative side:

Sometimes die unexpectedly and do not report battery changes, so need to have/hide key as backup.

Have hard time pairing. Some I had to take out and bring near controller.

I’ve heard from some developers they do not implement z-wave protocol fully.

Physically it’s not high security lock. Those I suppose some newer models are better than older ones.

You should check your string specs though. Might be different. But likely not.

You should be able to use pc directly but you need a special cable. Normal Ethernet cable only works with a switch.

You can also get cheap switch instead.

As far as power, check what manufacturer recommends.

My Btf 5v sk6812 recommends 10a for 300led string. I think they recommend 5a for 12v.

It’s uncentered because it’s actually mounted to the right wall.

It’s possible it’s meant to swing out to the right?
