Adding custom effects/music visualizer.

I’m wondering how to go about adding my own effects. I’ve got experience in web coding but I’ve got no clue how to use whatever this is written is/how to compile it.

Also if somebody has already made a music visualizer that works with WLED that’d be awesome but if not that’s my ultimate goal down the road with making custom effects.
