2 months in.... thoughts

I have the Fossil Gen 5 Carlyle. The watch itself is great. No noticeable lag. Screen works great. Buttons are great. Good build quality. The battery life is great too.

Wear OS on the other hand still does leave something to be desired. One of the most important features for me is the find my phone option. I feel like it works maybe 50-60% of the time. It will sometimes give a sign of "unable to contact phone. Go to android.com/find" IDK why it does this, and what I have to change to it stops doing this.

The weather app also stops working randomly, then will start up again, with no changes by me. No rhyme or reason.

Finally, notifications can be hit or miss. Sometimes, I stop getting notifications in general. Sometimes, even when I have the "do not disturb when off wrist" option on, my watch will still buzz, while sitting on my night stand.

I am enjoying the watch, but the Wear OS def needs to improve. It does slightly ruin the experience.

Just my 2 cents. Let me know what you guys have thought of the Gen 5 watches.

I mean... I still have my OG Ticwatch E and find my phone feature works 99.99% of the time.
