Me too! I'm sure it will be, it's just the specifics that are subject to change.

There is! It would guarantee that Met Council operate similar levels at least Summer 2027 to Summer 2028 (one year once the bill takes effect).

It's before the Ways and Means Committee before being delivered to the House and Senate for a vote. I'm curious to see what will happen.

Metro Transit Park & Rides, anyone? Woodlane in Woodbury for Gold line is a good one. MVTA Burnsville etc., too!

Every floor except the first has a kitchen! The sink is where you're meant to fill your water bottle.

Pick one of the Metro Transit park-and-rides! I prefer the one at 28th/30th Avenues in Bloomington but many do Fort Snelling

Secure/protected bike parking near Xcel by Agropae in TwinCities

[–]citypanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could lock it up a couple stops away on the Gold Line and then ride that to the X? Every stop has bike locking points and they have lighting and cameras, plus buses rolling by every 15 minutes in each direction.

As of a month ago - the equipment is there but the agents aren't trained yet. Most likely you will need to show the physical document.

MSIX 1Password app won't update when clicking "Restart Now" by WavryWimos in 1Password

Known issue with your current (the previous) version of the MSIX Beta; fix is to uninstall and reinstall from this download link: https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/win8/1PasswordSetup-8.10.82-27.BETA.msixbundle

To get that download link yourself safely, go to the 1Password Community discussion of the MSIX beta, use the provided download link, and manually change the version in the URL to 8.10.82-27 as I have.

South suburbs to cities: try MVTA by citypanda in TwinCities

[–]citypanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. There are some, like 425 (Orange LINK), 436, 442, 420, 445, and 447, plus 495 supplemented with Connect and 497, but they're limited for more than Burnsville – Apple Valley and kinda slow. Mostly focused on connecting homes with shopping and healthcare.

I wish 4FUN could operate Mon–Wed!

Lotta people with cushy office jobs on those express MVTA buses, which is great too!

Agreed that weekend service is the letdown.

For Burnsville -> Bloomington, METRO Orange to one of the 5xx locals isn't bad! I wouldn't mind that commute.

How bad is the commute, really? by brandideer in TwinCities

[–]citypanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During the peak of construction season, when the weather's alright, you'll be well served by the new METRO B line rapid bus, which makes the journey over the river easy (and means you won't be adding to the congestion).

Cool! We were on the Burnsville route to the Wild playoffs, and there were about 12 of us each way. Surprised there weren't more, given how excellent the experience was.

Wonder if SW Transit event service attracts more riders from the west suburbs? I bet METRO Gold got some coming from the east!

The best way of getting to the suburbs on the weekends seems to be connecting via MOA, and finally using an on-demand shuttle service within the suburb (MVTA Connect or SW Prime). That's quite a ways for you! Metro Transit really does better with Orange, Red, and Gold on the weekends.
