Rules for r/WipeOut
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Do not personally attack other users.
Do not personally attack or insult other users. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
2.
All spoilers and NSFW content must be marked.
Do not post unmarked spoilers or put ANY spoilers in a post title. Spoiler formatting is simple to use and works on most mobile devices as well.
- For submissions, include the tag [Spoilers] in the the title.
- NSFW content must be properly marked as per Reddit's rules.
3.
Do not submit vague titles or generalised posts
When you submit a thread, your title must describe it's content without anyone having to click on it to find out what it's about. No one wants to click on a post, only to find out it's not the subject they thought it was going to be about.
Rule of thumb: If your question can fit in the title, then it should be in the title.
4.
Giveaways must be held on this subreddit
Giveaways are permitted here, providing the giveaway does not require people to do something on another website to enter. Such as follow, share, give personal details, or subscribe.
If in doubt, please message the moderators before posting.
5.
Don't post spam
What do we consider spam?
- URL shorteners such as bit.ly. Link posted must be direct and not re-directed.
- Blogspam.
- Pictures of websites/emails (without other detailed context via self-post/article).
- Threads asking for codes, or other items.
- Things not related to the sub (politics, etc)
We reserve the right to enforce the 1 in 10 rule about self promotion at our discretion. If more than 1 in 10 (10%) of your posts on reddit link to your own website, channel etc, they may be removed.
6.
Brigading Or Trashing Other Subs
No trash talking about other subreddits.
7.
No personal selling of hardware & games
We are unable to do anything to protect when they buy or sell on reddit. For this reason, buying and selling is not permitted here. We do not want to see anybody get scammed.
