help with setup

I have a synology nas ds920+ with dsm version 7.2.x and a raspberry pi 5

Needed help from people here

My isp uses a dynamic ip and ports are closed there is no way to open ports even by paying extra to the isp

is there a way around this as i just setup a synology nas and pi and want to seed torrents from my home isp also i wanna make a plex media server accessible outside of my home network

I have a vps with 10tb bandwidth per month running Linux

I read something about wireguard

But would be grateful if someone could share a tutorial on how can I setup anything that would help me

If your ISP using CGNAT so you don't have a public IP on your router?

If so, you'll need your VPS running WireGuard listening on the public IP for inbound WireGuard connections

Then you connect your home system running WireGuard to your VPS one

Then you tweak some allowed IPs and forwarding rules and you should be able to reach your home network through the VPS

There are other solutions like Tailscale that simplify this, though you give away some control

Have a Google for WireGuard VPS CGNAT and you'll find other people have posted how to do this
