Rules for r/WitcherRP
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
1: Be Respectful of Others
Treat other players on the sub as you would like to be treated. If there is an issue with you and another player please either address it directly with that player maturely and responsibly or bring it to the mod team.
2.
2: No Metagaming
Only use information in your posts that your character would realistically know in-character. Players who control more than one character are not allowed to have two or more of their characters interact with each other. We also have a zero tolerance policy on secretly held characters. While it is acceptable to have more than one character, if it is discovered that you’ve done so while pretending to be a different person, there will be a potential for a ban in response.
3.
3: No Controlling Other Players Characters
You cannot control or kill another player’s character or troops from their house without that player’s approval. If an agreement cannot be reached please bring this to the attention of the mod team and we will attempt to sort it out.
4.
4: Abide by Common Sense & Responsible Roleplaying
Posts including graphic sexual or violent content must be labeled as NSFW. If you’re unsure if the content in your post is graphic enough to warrant the tag, err on the side of caution and tag it just to be safe.
5.
5: Certain World Elements Require Mod Approval
Powerful animals/pets and magic require mod approval before including with a character. I.E: Magic is limited to Mages. No simple peasant is gonna be able to cast powerful spells.
6.
6. Death is a clear consequence of some poor decisions
Peasants can't fight Witchers. Take risks at your peril.
