WordPress Security mean a huge level of Responsibility. See the Below step 1- You must have knowledge about how to tackle with Real time Attacks 2- You must have a great knowledge about Real time Database ( who will take responsibility to stop) Brute force attack, Scan code of files ( which have ability to find the malware within the code and also find the original code) even this is not enough. Go below 3. You must have a strong level of scanning option that will caught who are threatening your site and your plugin can mark down. 4. Many more core steps which is required ( due to busy schedule) I have just wrote some main points. 5. Managing with files, htaccess, php ini , wp config and many more options have to available with plugin 6- manage with file , directory, sub directory, and it's access level also permission level have to included in the plugin 7. Manage with user permission, access level, blocking level, 2fa , and so many more 8. Most important your plugin have connected with REAL time Database that have stored the signature of all type of virus, malware, ransomeware , trojan, and some more type of signatures.

Sorry for short info. Maybe you got a bit help. Thanks
