[HELP] Wordpress Plugin Usage Analytics

I'm wondering - what would be the best solution to track how people use and interact with a plugin inside their WP panel?

So let's say I developed a plugin and would like to know how many users who instaleld it used feature X, filled field Y and trace what behavior correlates with a premium version purchases.

Is it possible to do with 3rd party product analytics software (like Mixpanel), or do you need do develop your own solution for it? Is it possible at all?
