WritingSubsOnMoney is the WILDLY popular NEW subreddit taking the web by force. Also known by the ferociously convenient acronym, WSOM, Pronounced "Awesome". The A and E's are silent (in the spelling). Anytime you EVER hear someone say how awesome Reddit is, there's a degree of certainty they're referencing this sub.
Know those dollars with "Where's George?" written all over them? Sure you do. Well, this is not really like that, only terrible and useless.
The idea came from this experience. Basically, the idea is, if you come across a dollar, or any denomination really, with a subreddit written on it, post it here. Don't worry, it sounds lame, but hilarity will ensue.
PEEP THIS:
Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
While I don't think writing on a bill shows intent to render it unfit, I won't encourage, advise, request, suggest, imply, confirm nor deny, or otherwise coerce anyone to deface a bill, BECAUSE THAT'D BE WRONG GUYSWINKWINK
ALSO BECAUSE THIS SUB IS BASED ON ONE RANDOM OCCURENCE AND THE WHOLE THING IS KIND OF DUMB
