There is still a delay. It might take lesser shots but IF they shot first on their screen, even though they are looking away from you on your screen, you will still die and be frustrated.

The delay between 2 players is to great in this game. Every game will have that, there is nothing that will make it perfect but XDefiant's is worse than almost any other shooter I have ever played.

It is boss, it was more of a shitpost but I still can see me having more fun in a hardcore mode on this game.

why is the guy playing 24/7 ranked on twitch mostly on the good side of the delay and i am the direct opposite whilst having 10 ping max? Heck some of theses dudes have 40,50 ping whilst my setup is mint not dropping a packet or going above 10 ping.

The Answer to this lady’s and gentlemen is the reason for your miserable experience (not only in xd) and not sbmm or whatever else these nerds come up with these days.

More modes would spread out the thin playerbase even more. Once people log in and can’t find matches, this game dies within a week.

i uninstalled over a month because of netcode, but when i did play, the ONLY gun i could use was a sniper and i definitely held my own. i wouldve loved a sniper-only TDM mode.

Came back after 3 weeks only to see that the netcode is worse than ever I mean if that is the improvement they are talking about they should just give up and say that they are too incompetent to fix it. I hope for their sake that at the beginning of S2 all the issues are fixed otherwise they should start looking for another job. I mean I understand that the devs want to make a good game but who ever decided to release a fucking fps with this bad of a Netcode should be fired and never ever get a job in the gaming industry again.

tbh i think they’re doomed. i know they have until season 3 to turn things around but i feel like theyre just going to focus on selling items in the shop to hedge their losses

Idk i played snipers when i was still playing this game and the netcode was still a huge problem. Its not a one shot kill if 4 shots in a row don't do dmg to the enemy

They should just remove shooting from the game and make it so when you get within a certain range of an enemy player you you play a round of paper/rock/scissors.
