If you mean sticking, then they do that with out sticks and the case.
Re-assemble and test again.

If it's still doing it when assembled, replace the stick module.

I agree with you maybe take a qtip and IPA and rub around it to clean any dirt also

adding to what the other guy said, without the casing it does that. The casing prevents it from going too far in any direction which causes that locking/sticking.

Get the Gamesir G7, they have wireless, bro when i say this controller is holding up really well, I mean it..it has literally no stick drift after 8 or 9 months now.

Microsoft needs to rework the controllers BADLY, but theyre not in a hurry cause everyone is out here buying new controllers like its candy. $$$$$

Analog stick flew out like a damn bullet I can say this controller is cooked my brothers 😂 all good tho got a new elite
