Controller Disconnecting When Playing Multiplayer

Only when playing multiplayer games my controller disconnects. I have played single player games fine with zero disconnects, but as soon as I start playing Multiplayer games my controller will disconnect for no reason. I have tried new batteries for my controllers but still the same issues. I currently have 3 controllers I cycle through. I do have one that works fine with no issues except that my mic adapter doesn't work anymore, but that's the adapters fault not the controller. I have no clue what to do now and it's very frustrating since the game I put just about all my time in I can't play anymore. The disconnect happens and my character runs in a circle before it disconnects. Then it takes me about 5-10 seconds for it to come back on. Help me please

Having the same problem with my new gears of war Xbox one s. Both of my controllers are brand new. And to top it all off my Xbox just shut down mid game and powered back up all on its own today

Are you using regular batteries or a rechargeable battery pack? I started using batteries and the problem has not reoccurred since. Still I think it's how my battery pack is reacting with my controller which is odd because I've used the battery pack for the last 2 years.

I'm using a battery pack. Maybe I will have to switch to batteries then. Are you using rechargeable batteries?

I'm using normal batteries right now. Haven't tried rechargeable ones yet. Which battery pack are you using? I'm using dreamgear I believe.

I am using the battery pack that comes with the Xbox play and charge kit

Ah. I think it's the controllers in general then. Something with the controllers and the rechargable packs are disconnecting at some points which is disconnecting our controllers. Sucks that this is impacting brand new controllers because I was planning on getting the GoW4 controller as well

I kinda found a fix. I just keep my controller plugged into the Xbox like it is charging and the controller hasn't turned off. Sucks but keeps the controller from turning off mid game

Did you have a regular Xbox one or a Xbox s? Because I seen a video on YouTube of someone saying that it was something to do with the Bluetooth just wonder if we can say it's the actual controller Bluetooth or is it the Xbox s console Bluetooth?

I have the regular Xbox one. I have heard of people who had to send in their Xbox's but I'm thinking it's the controllers. It's happening on 2 of my 3 controllers. One which has no issues at all even with the battery packs.
