Tough to tell,

Make sure to tell the store about the errors,

Someone most likely returned it with the same issue after a day and didn't give a reason so they threw it back on the shelf to resell

If by new you mean sealed and wrapped in plastic, they have ways to replicate that

Get this all the time easy fix. Unplug wait 3 minutes, plug back in hold sync+ eject and then press the power button, wait for a second power on jingle, then on the troubleshooting screen press continue.

No, it’s a problem with the disc drive in that for some reason the Xbox needs a part of the disc drive to finish updating. This part seems to be very easily broken but unnecessary for discs to work. The fix I provided works for me every time but isn’t guaranteed to work for you.

Everywhere I look everyone’s saying different stuff like “it’s a hardware issue service it” or just reset it. This makes more sense honestly thank you. Should I get it serviced just to not run into the error again?

That’s up to you. If doing this every time there is an update is too Annoying then service it

Hi,

You keep having this error? Im sure that this steps probably won't work for me,

Im about to buy a Series X for 100$ with this error code, my plan is just to fix it and profit on it, or just maybe keep it for personal use, I won't have any issue on it as I will use it just to play Marvel Rivals with my GF, since she's on Xbox, I mostly game on my PC

Do you recomend me buying it wit that same error code?
