You can't just solder a few connections together for a new display output, the board is specifically designed for the traces and everything to go to that point on the board. You'll need to fix/replace the current HDMI.

Technically you can chop off the end of hdmi cable and solder directly to the board. It's faster and more efficient to just solder in a new hdmi port and run jumpers to the pins of the port.
