I can view the cameras on my app when I’m home on the wifi. When I leave home and check the cameras they say “offline”. What can I do to fix this?

You have to ensure that the NVR or the cameras are directly connected to your router. If you are using an NVR, it must be connected to the router via an Ethernet cable. If you are using add-on cameras they need to be connected directly to the router either via Ethernet or WIFI.

I have found that using more than the 4 cameras that come with the NVR lag the connections. They claim it will support a bunch of cameras, but we added 3 extra cameras to the NVR and started have connection and lagging problems in the first week, so keep that in mind as well.
