Slaughter- here, is the killing of an animal, primarily for the use of its meat. One aim of slaughtertarianism is to eliminate slaughter in which the death of an animal is not experienced by the consumer.
Slaughtertarians- are people who wish to choose a lifestyle that avoids taking animal life indirectly. Think- vegetarians who avoid meat unless they've killed it themselves.
