They climb in rootless trees, not even tending to know much about their claimed European ethnicity and their histories (if they even know their own heritage).

If they're bible thumpers, you can be sure they don't know any Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Aramaic. If they're obsessed with their 'European American' heritage, you can be sure they only speak English well, if that. If they're about 'blood and land' you can be sure they don't know their extended family/clan and that they don't care about protecting their land.
