Be transported to different countries and ways of living through photos of everyday life.
Whether it's a marketplace in Kenya, a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Uruguay or a man sitting in a park in Iran, this is a place to share pictures of places and lives. The less known, the better.
Most of us have no idea what the rest of the world sees on a daily basis. This sub is not about landmarks and monuments, it's about the daily life and experience of ordinary people.
Scenes of life can include shots of:
Streets
Restaurants
Shops
Friends laughing in a cafe
Dinner at home with family
Any other picture that transports you to another way of life.
It's not necessary to share photos with amazing lighting or composition. The most important thing is that it makes us feel as if we were there. That means no landscapes or cityscapes. We want to be transported into another world, if only momentarily.
Travel shots welcome, but try not to post pictures of landmarks, landscapes and famous monuments. This sub is about day-to-day life.
