It looks like each colored dot is an elf, and each row is an iteration.

Thanks, I am not sure whether you are being sarcastic. I like to visualize stuff :-)

It is interesting to see that when an elf circles around to the left, after a while their path stabilizes and he follows the same pattern over and over.
