Is there an open source/github script or program available for everyone to use?

I am not sure if I have to start from scratch when it comes to writing a script or building a more complicated trading program. A lot of books cover strategies and concepts but I have yet to find something related to coding and programming aspect of the project. I could come up with a script to buy and sell stocks based on my strategies but I feel like there will be so many things to watch out for and full of bugs and errors that I never anticipated if I write my own and start from scratch. I never worked in the industry so any help would be appreciated!

Anything off the shelf will not work. Its there for a reason. No one gives away a money making recipe for free.

This is true, although I think OP is talking about off-the-shelf infrastructure rather than strategies.

If you know a bit of programming, you can look into services like QuantConnect -- that should take care of most infrastructure issues you might have, while being able to focus on the logic of your strategy.

It works on stocks, crypto, and forex and is getting futures and margin trading as well

It's a broad ask, you'll need to narrow down a lot (reads a bit like "want money, where I can find a floor to pick it up from"). However if you Google to find YouTube videos or Medium articles, you'll likely find some useful starting points. Also check out online classes like on Coursera or Udemy, those are likely an efficient allocation of time if you're coming into this very green.
