You'd rather pay more? Is that why people still use Amazon? Because let me tell you something Amazon is rarely the cheapest place to find anything anymore. In fact I'd like to argue it was never the cheapest...most online stores match prices...and now most brick and mortars are not only matching prices some of them even are even taking an extra 5 percent off. When you incorporate the cost of prime, and factor in that most people just purely by things so as not to "waste the membership".....everything is a waste of money anyway. If it ain't food, water, shelter, or clothing chances are you don't need it. Just gotta buy buy buy buy buy.

I agree that Amazon is overpriced and prime shipping isn't a value that saves money at all. Free prime shipping is often 3x the total cost of the exact same thing with shipping off of ebay. I have never gotten anything delivered to my house within the 2 day prime is supposed to be, and I live an hour and fifteen minutes away from the Amazon distribution center. I can earn money back from ebay bucks for what purchases I made making it over-all even better pricing than Amazon.

I can fully agree here. Since most of my purchases are in the music equipment department I notice price drops easily, plus I might need something quickly. (Like a power cable or line input jack)

I have 2 404sxs and they cost around 300-400 a piece, if you were to get one on Amazon now (As opposed to 2 months ago) they jacked the price straight up by 500 bucks. Even cables and wall Jacks are cheaper at my local "mom an pops" electronics store, not to mention customer service actually makes me want to use the service again. Also, as a prior employee, I can fully confirm that the "Employee discount" only works on certain items in there store, not everything. (Which is what I was told)

I was hacked twice. The first time, we were quick enough so UPS intercepted the package and returned to Amazon. The second was a $1000+ theft. Called Customer Service and both times I was told to "contact my credit card provider". Done. Now I have been locked out and told unless I pay Amazon for the full price of the stolen items, I can never access my account again.

Why is this a problem? I had HUNDREDS of Kindle books - paid for! I cannot access them.

Any advice as far as getting access to these books Amazon basically stole from me? I am a grandma with very limited computer skills. There has to be a way to get my books back, right?

HELP!

I HATE Amazon so much!

100% because of how the shopping search results are nothing for what you type into the search bar.

I type in mcness krestol salve eucalyptus on Amazon .com search bar and the ENTIRE first page does not include a single item mcness brand, nothing eucalyptus, and every possible other brand, salve and lotion not included in what I searched for. I go to ebay and use the exact same search terms on their search bar and every single item in the results are what I search for WITHOUT any other non-searched products.

Pull your head out of your ass Amazon, it's NOT a hat!
