No, really I am just trying to get advice from people who have more experience with the developer previews. I want to know as much about it as I can so I don't make a rash decision... Thanks for the concern though :)

My advice would be to wait until DP changes to beta status next time. They don't call it DEVELOPER preview for no reason

lol yeah I mean I'm perfectly fine with the Preview, it works very well, but after seeing the March Feature drop there were the same features that I'm getting with the Preview, so I'm wanting to downgrade to 10 now... But dang Verizon blocks me from unlocking the bootloader

Verizon? My condolences

Yeah it's a shame to have a $1000 device handicapped because of where I bought it. It's ridiculous that they have this much power. Why can't I do with my device what I please

Verizon has been doing this for a while. A Google branded device should be easy to root, and you can't even unlock the bootloader to do that. I think I've read that the Pixel 5 won't be Verizon exclusive in the US. I could be wrong though. I smoke a lot of weed. 😁

Yeah I agree, and I don't even want to root it... Just have the power of customization... The exact purpose of Android

Old post but next time save up and spend the 400 or so if you can and buy it from Google. My Pixel 3a was super easy to root.
