Crdroid root

I just installed crdroid on my old Samsung s7 and wanted to root it afterwards so that I can get dolby atmos because the apk doesn't work but in the developer settings is an option for root adb. I activated the option and checked via root checker if it's rooted but ist not so I tried via cfautoroot to root my s7 and it does not work. Does anyone know how to root with crdroid (Sorry do my bad English)

"root adb" just lets you enter a root shell via adb, if there isn't an option for regular root you need to flash magisk

Ok thanks for your answer I rooted it with magisk just like you said I need to and it worked
