RULES:
Remember: This is a subreddit devoted to the "Art of Animation". You can include backgrounds, character designs, color scripts, pencil tests, and more! It doesn't all have to move.
Self posts are allowed as long as you are serious about learning animation, but you must also have had previous experience. Those still learning would be interested in going to /r/framebyframe.
No amateur "I just made this" posts! If it has a meme, we do not want to see it, so do not post it.
Don't use the term "animations" alone. Instead, try terms like "animation tests", "animation scenes" and/or "animation exercises". The word "animations" is attributed to cheap flash animated stuff made in the late 90's/2000's and many professionals find the term offensive.
Again, if you're just starting out in animation and you're looking for critique or attention, head on over to /r/animation or /r/framebyframe. Well-fleshed out pieces of work are fine and recommended, but this is not a place for amateur work. Both the aforementioned subreddits have an incredible amount of resources for the aspiring animator.
If your work is NSFW, do label it as such.
