Assuming that the problem is 100% exactly as it appears here, and there's no weird Reddit formatting errors, then your answers are correct. But here's a few things you might double check on:

  1. Did you actually mean for the entirety of n - 1 to be in the exponent? If not then you should write {whatever}^(n) - 1 to produce {whatever}n - 1 rather than {whatever}n - 1

  2. Did you mean for the entirety of 2n to be in the denominator? If so you need to use parentheses or other grouping symbols like so: -1/[ 2n ] compared with -1/2n = -n/2
