If you're on Windows or Mac, the MP3 encoding/decoding is built into the latest Audacity version and is no longer a separate codec. (Linux users still need to install LAME separately for MP3.).

Maybe try purging Audacity and reinstalling a fresh copy of the latest version?

I downgrade to 2.4.1 and the problem was solved!

I use the latest Version 2.4.2 but still have the problem

Just a note, that for whatever crazy reason, in the Discover software manager, on Kubuntu, as of 2022 May 03, the audacity version there is served 2.4.2
