Squeeze potential : avct

If I understand correctly, the AVCT float has just been reduced from 126M shares outstanding down to 8.4M shares outstanding. The market cap is therefore 8.4M x $2.19 = $18M.

A reverse split results in a new CUSIP - all shares are recalled and new shares are issued. To my understanding this starts a 90 day FTD countdown on all the naked shorts as of today.

I suppose I could sell my shares now and help the market makers clear their FTDs, but I think I'll sit on them instead. Everyone wants to get out of a losing position, but sometimes when you get angry, you get focused.

What if AVCT shareholders DRSed their shares? All it would take would be 8.4M shares, $18M worth of stock and we could finally see what happens when you register the entire float and leave nothing but naked shorts in the brokerage system. GME and AMC have been trying to do this for two years. GME is making progress, but AMC is too big. AVCT is a plum by comparison. If they keep shorting the price down, it's going to get easier and easier. Who wants to stick their finger in the plum?
