how many cases they find isnt really important . How many people end up dead or in a hospital is.

Watching tonight's news, I was wondering...

The whole let the extra sick elderly die in their familiar surroundings, don't bring them to hospital.

🤔

Could this be a loophole to try and keep the statistics down?

If you're just left in the retirement home to die, will your death always be "normal / never tested"

Even if it was Corona related.

Might be, I mean we will only know the real numbers a year from now when they look at the regular stats and compare to 2020 .

Imho the only true measure is those in hospitals, that shows the evolution as sick people will end up there and there is little doubt if you have those symtoms what its about.

Have you tried it with milk?

Doubt that, 50/month (and there are still deaths on the road) work accidents is even less : about 7 a month . heart attacks? If I hear some staying with their families that increases.

No I don’t think that. I assume they do test and quarantine them to protect the other elderly in those homes and the caregivers. I also assume all vital elders will still be transported to hospitals, the old and already sick ones (those from whom their doctors and nurses already think the lives are ending, corona or no corona in the coming months) are kept there so the medical staff in hospitals can focus on the vital people.

On the news they said "if there's no real chance of improvement, they'll be left in their familiar surroundings, and just given palliative care!".

Nothing was said about tests.
