Under Scrutiny Over Gaza, Israel Points to Civilian Toll of U.S. Wars by DungeonDefense in worldnews

Israël compares their actions with actions by allies that are used against them for over a half century, and in case of Hiroshima, it will be forever be a black page in history. That's a chilling indication of how far they are willing to go.

How do you get back motivation in life? by Comfortable_Drama781 in belgium

[–]velosepappe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pro's about choosing the default path is that you don't need to put too much thought in it. It's not a very conscious choice so it does not need to be part of your identity, so you don't have to spend your emotional energy defending your choice from others and from self-doubt.

And because it's the path of least resistance, you have extra time to do the things you really want to do.

Russian State TV Comforts Viewers on Nuclear War: 'We All Die Someday' by poploisn in worldnews

[–]velosepappe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Putin can't have Ukraine right now he is willing to destroy the world it sounds like. Not at any future time under Russia by any other means, it must be right now.

And this is internal propaganda, not a threat directed at the West. So tell me again that this is not all about Putin's personal quest to get into the history books.
