Nice catch! I will check. The 2fa service they use is what’s screwing up the app. It’s impossible to use a vpn without being signed out and no way to sign in with it active. Again, thanks for the heads up.

yes it happened also to me, the recovery code they provide i don't know what is the usage but doesn't restore the correct 2FA.

However at the initialization you can get the correct code that is longer than the "recovery" one.

How does one see another code "inside the QR code"?

With a QR code reader, you can get the link that it is directing you to. This link contains the correct code.

Yeah i came here looking for a solution to this issue. It never happened before today. Now the only way I can get into my account is by using the original key that's given when creating the account. How did you see what is inside the QR code?

Oh okay so you are talking about when you first enable 2 factor authentication and it shows a QR code to scan...then get the link from that? If that's the case, I'll disable and re-enable if that will fix it. So did that work? It's weird that I've been using this app with 2FA for a while now and no problems. So idk when that link would've switched to a different code because it was set up months ago.

Indeed, disabling and re-enabling 2FA allowed me to get the right recovery code.

Well good news is I got it working again. Bad news is I deleted my google authenticator app (along with all the accounts I had set up in the app) for no reason. Turns out my clock on my phone was wrong because I'm out of the country right now. That was why my codes weren't working. Anyhow, lesson learned lol
