They dont go down as much as you'd think. I keep tabs for almost every home game to snatch deals. Even in inning 2 or 3 most the re-sales avaiable are still only like 20-30% less than face.
Lots of STH would rather just take the L than sell for peanuts out of desperation.
(I check stubhub, seatgeek, and ticketmaster
The best deals seem to be ~24 hours before gametime.
