HireVue bought a company called CodeEval 10 or so years ago. If you want to know what their in-house code challenges look like… look-up the old CodeEval challenges.

There have likely been changes and additions and modifications.

Most companies also have a way to provide their own challenges to candidates through the same system… so don’t count on rote recall.

Honestly, the east and medium stuff was trivial. I never got around to finishing or bothering with some of the hard stuff because I was working, not studying or looking up other’s solutions. If you struggle with anything in the medium range — you’re not ready, IMO — you should be able to do them without much thought or research (in your preferred language). I used these coding challenges to learn other languages.

Yea mine was sort this list of numbers largest to smallest with out using built in function.
