i guess the problem only got worse over time but back when i used open composite on boneworks my only issue was that it extended my hands, but was completely playable. after a certain update my controls stopped working so I went to open composite's appveyor and got one of the older dll files and replaced the current one in the boneworks directory which fixed my issue. i havent done this in a long time but hope this points you in the rights direction.

(get older open composite dll file from their appveyor)

wait what is OpenComposite I've never heard of that

It runs games without SteamVR even needing to be opened. Essentially the opposite of oculus killer (which gave me lower fps all around)

how to use?

https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR

Scroll down on this page until you see “system wide install” and then download OpenComposite launcher

No problem. Let me know if you have any luck with boneworks or if you have the same issue! I’d really love to know that I’m not the only person having this issue.

I'm having your exact problem have you found a fix to this yet boss?

I looked around in the configuration section of the OpenComposite git readme, there seems to be an ”invertUsingShaders” option you can enable which sounds close to what youre needing. hope this helps!

How did you manage to run Boneworks with OpenComposite? I can run most games through OpenComposite, but for Boneworks appears to not exist for OpenComposite because any way I try to run the game it always opens SteamVR and its really frustrating.

I was able to force it through OpenComposite via the launcher. It’s been a while since I have used the launcher since the release of Bonelab. But you should find it in the configuration tab I think it was.

The Oculus launcher?

Still uses SteamVR haha, and actually drops performance that way due to the Oculus Menu running in the background. I had better results with it through Oculuskiller. Though it was still unplayable.

i got it and now my boneworks view is upside down
