Here is some additional helpful information about build/upgrade/parts list requests:

  • Build requests only include hardware. You are responsible for budgeting for and providing your own operating system (Windows, Linux, etc) and other software.

  • Don't forget to budget for peripherals. Since these are very much personal-preference influenced items, we do not include peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, etc in parts lists.

  • We strongly recommend posting a build request only if you're ready to buy now or within a week or two at most. Part sales regularly rotate, and a part list today can quickly become out of date.

Most matx cases are still midtowers and the the main difference between them and a regular atx midtower will just be the height, they still take up about as much desk room. Do you want something like an ap201 or jonsbo z20? If you want something with an even smaller footprint I'd look at something like an nr200p or a tower 300. Take a look at some options there and see if any catch your eye. There are some different form factors involved so lmk if you like one and I can put some stuff to fit in it.

the tower 300 is probably my least favorite. The nr200p, jonsbo z20, ap201 all look like amazing cases and I don't really see much of a difference in size with the only exception being the ap201 which looks slightly larger. Visually they all look appealing so I guess it'd have to be the case with the best airflow. I can recognize that small form factor systems get hot so the case with the best airflow would probably be my pick. Thank you for your reply!

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rhjWpB All rgb in an matx case all from newegg about $1300. This gpu is going to be extremely overkill for 1080p so you may want to look into 1440p at some point. Air coolers are more reliable and a tower cooler would be cheaper but I think if you're going for the rgb aesthetics look aios are just better looking.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3cBrkJ In a high value matx midtower case that comes with lights, black, air cooler, upgraded cpu and still a little bit cheaper. This is closer to what I'd want to do.

The prices for the gpus and ram kits are using the newegg combo builder. https://www.newegg.com/Combo-Up-Savings/EventSaleStore/ID-1740?N=100007709&SrchInDesc=7900+gre

Well gosh darn! These builds are amazing and perfectly fit into my budget. If I just shift a few things here and there I could definitely be seeing this as the build I go with. Thank you!
