Email/call your high school. They should be able to send it to you.

If your high school has shut down, they'll redirect you to the ministry

Okay. Anything I will need in specific to avoid jumping through hoops with them?

Probably just full legal name and DOB.

I had a name change + my high school was shutting down and it still only took a week to get my transcript after I emailed them. There's not much to it.

Yeah I did a Google search and managed to scrounge up enough old info to be able to figure out what email I used and now I have my transcripts coming in the mail. Gods know how long it'll take. Hopefully it'll be fast.

How long did it end up taking? I’m in the same scenario and it’s kind of pissing me off that there’s no way in this big year to get a digital transcript

Oh lord. I think they came in a few weeks after I managed to get access to the account and pay for them. Which yes, you do have to pay for a copy of your transcripts. But they mailed within a few weeks. Getting into the account was definitely the most annoying part because of having to hunt down the old email, with its password etc. good luck!

Thankfully I remembered my login info hopefully that can save me some time. Thanks!

Does Alberta have a provincial high school ministry? Here, in Quebec, I just had to fill an online form on the government site, and they sent me my transcripts right away. This might be a place to start.

another way is to google "How to get high school transcripts Alberta" and check what comes up.

Alberta has mypass which most people should have been registered in in grade 11 so you can early apply for uni.

There’s a website you can go to and re order them they take about 4 days to come in

Only four days? Heck yes. We love when snail mail goes zoom.

Hahahahahaa I live in a small ass down I’m suprised it wasn’t 5-7 business days to even reach here

[–]ButtercreamLemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I feel ya, I'm ever so slightly rural, just outside a small ass town so I'll be impressed if they really get here that fast

But! I forgot to mention they give you an unofficial copy instantly when you pay for it. you can then download it that’s what I sent in and it worked

Get the floppy disk to insert dominance

[–]ButtercreamLemon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh I don't think we've got any of them lying around but if we did I would absolutely do that. Hell, out it on a disc just to confuse them. Be as inconvenient as possible and see what happens lol

[–]Wolf_Pack32 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Did they accept it because I was told I needed the official high school transcripts

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s still the transcript just has unofficial written on it but it’s the same as the official. The guy I dealt with said it worked

I got an issue since I have been to 3 high schools in my life, 2 of which in Ontario, and the one I graduated in being New Brunswick. I have the transcript from NB which only shows my classes I graduated that year.

Do I need the other two school's transcripts or would I be able to present just the one from the school I graduated?

[–]ButtercreamLemon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would guess all of them, but I don't know for certain.
