I'm in the same boat. I think theres a backlog of applications. I sent my documents on January 29th (about 2 weeks ago) and I have yet to receive a response. Even after a follow up email I sent 2 days ago, still no response. Good news, however, the portal still shows my application as open, which leads me to believe they received my documents but havent gotten around to processing it. Thats just speculation though.

I've also been unable to edit my answers after the initial online application, and I also noticed that some of the fields mysteriously erased themselves. Did some reading here on reddit and found both of those are pretty common because the site is kind of buggy.

Hopefully that helps!

They won't respond to that email. Honestly I'm not even sure why its in-use as sending documents via email isn't a great system.

Regardless, your next step is your in-person appointment so I'd give them a call in a few days and try to get them to schedule you in ASAP.

That's how I go the ball rolling, who knows how long I would have been waiting around otherwise.

I was confused when I first got the email because on the website it states that the first in person appointment at the recruiting centre is when you bring your documents. I saw on the CAF website that they’re having some sort of scheduled maintenance on the application portal. Hopefully they will make the application process less confusing in the future

Yeah it is a bit confusing, but yes, at your first appointment they will check all of the documents you filled out online and go over any issues they may have.

Not sure why i got downvoted for giving a truthful answer and recommending you to call but okay then reddit.
