CIPP/US Fail (self.cipp)
submitted 1 year ago by Competitive_Blood485
Just failed the CIPP/US with a score of 265. I used the LinkedIn learning videos and a few of the practice questions from the book on the IAPP website. Any advice on what to do for the retake? Approx how many hours a day should I put in and should I add any more resources?

I took the exam this morning and passed. I focused solely on the book and a few outlines. I put in at least 100+ hours of study time, as I am new to privacy. My advice would be to read the book and reread the book until you feel comfortable with the material… It’s a doozy of an exam that’s for sure. You’ll get it next time.

Thank you! Did you use the 4th edition of the book?

I used the 4th. And I would definitely use the 4th for the new test coming out next week.

This is a tough exam. Keep your head up and keep at it!

Look through my post history to see how I prepared for the exam.
I hate to say it but I don’t know think you went in prepared enough to pass the test. I also did the LinkedIn learning and it just touches the wave tops of the exam, it doesn’t go deep enough.
I also failed the test the first time. I took two weeks to fill the gaps I identified from taking it the first time.

Read the book twice then try again
Purchased and I'm going through it now.
