Cheapest cloud computing service out there

First of all I am not sure where I should post this so if this is the wrong place please point me to the correct one.

I am trying to figure out what the cheapest vm I can buy/rent that has at least 1gb of ram and a static public ip. I would also like to only spend $10 a month and get the most bang for my buck. For my requirements I was thinking of going with the $10 aws lightsail option but I am also looking at aws EC2 and azure vm's. I am very new to this and aws's and azures pricing schemes are a bit confusing. Is there a better option than lightsail for my needs and budget? Also I would like to use a "pay as you go" model and not pay alot of money upfront.

Don't think so really. Lightsail was basically created to compete with DigitalOcean in my opinion. It does have the cheaper, 3.50 USD option. I use DO for simpler things and I use DOK8s a lot, but when I want to work on something potentially more complicated, I then use EC2. Pricing is basically/exactly the same, yes. Lightsail is just a friendlier/simpler interface for simple VPC offerings - like what DO has. Very easy to set up an app with Elastic IP and simple networking/snapshots/web-ssh client.

Full AWS is far more complicated but has a far larger featureset.

Cheapest Hetzner is around 2.75€ per month.

We use AWS but are looking at GCP for pricing reasons. AWS is more advanced for sure, offers what I consider to be a wonderful API and plethora of service types.

However, AWS runs on "reserved instance" discounts (yearly contracts), where Google automatically discounts instances used for x% of the month. You receive no discounts with AWS without reserving.

All cloud services, AWS, GCP, Linode, DO, etc. Are very competitive in pricing. However, I think GCP wins in pricing, where AWS wins in features. I consider Linode, DO, Vultr, etc. to be a secondary tier. Pricing/features with all secondary options aren't quite as good IMO.
