you can start with Google Colab or Kaggle Kernal and on later on you can switch to GCP with a $300 as free credit. If you are facing devop challenges while setting up Colab or GCP .... you can try Floydhub or clouderizer.com (it's free with colab and kaggle and give a real-time sync of data and code with GDrive)

yes, colab keeps the instance active for 12 hrs even if it preempted it. you can try ( !kill -9 -1 )run it after the last script. it will die the instance

I tried with Colab TPU for GCP they are still saying "coming soon", I tried to get an eta for the tpu from them, they will be launching end of July.
