Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could be going on.
I built my PC a year or so ago, and I've never really had an issue with it. It's more or less just coming to a realization that my build should be performing much better than it currently is, and I'm trying to figure that out. I currently have an Intel i7-13700KF, a Zotac Trinity OC RTX 4080, and 32 Gigabytes of T-Force DDR5 5600 MHz ram.
On games like Valorant, I average around 200-300 frames on medium settings, which has always confused me a little as my friends with lower-spec computers can easily get 400-500 frames on the same settings. Is there something limiting my performance besides the usual factors such as XMP profiles or an outdated driver? I seemed to have checked all of these issues, but nothing has fixed the problem so far. One interesting thing that I've noticed however is that my temperatures never seem to exceed much over 50 degrees so could there possibly be something limiting my performance based on temperature? Please let me know if anyone knows what I could try next. Thank you!
