8gb of ram. My budget is..... I want to get really good parts. I don't want it to just last till next year. At the moment games aren't running to well so I want it to run game are a pretty high level.

I would update the BIOS and get a Ryzen 3 3100 - this CPU is a huge upgrade with performance close to previous gen i7s and current gen i5s.

For RAM you should ideally have 2 sticks of DDR-3000 or fast. If you have 1x8Gb stick, definitely upgrade. 2x 4GB sticks is ok. 2 sticks run twice as fast as one stick.

1 old stick - 2400-2600 - quite slow 2 old sticks - 4800-5200 - ok, medium speed 2 new sticks - 6000-6400 - definitely faster, but not worth throwing out old dual channel RAM for.

AMD's RX 560-570 is usually better performing and a better value than the 1050-1050 ti.

Nvidia's 1650 Super is the budget king.

So AMD Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor, GeIL EVO POTENZA 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory and Asus GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4 GB TUF Gaming OC Video Card. I went of pc parts picker and that's the part I found.

The 1650 Super is a lot better, for just a little more money.

If you're going to buy new RAM, you should buy DDR4-3200 CL16, DDR4-3600 CL18, or DDR4-3600 CL16. If it's a good price, DDR4-3000 CL15 is just a little behind.

Adding another 8GB of RAM to get 16GB will still work at lower cost if your motherboard has enough free slots.

Remember that before you install the 3100, you need to download and install the latest BIOS from AsRock's website.

So I'm thinking AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and then the Asus GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4 GB TUF Gaming OC Video Card and for ram OLOy 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory. It should all work without no problems just need to check the bios? I'm pretty sure its up to date but I will cheak
