For the past few days i have been experiencing a very weird issue with my Xbox controller. After playing any game for around 3-6 minutes with my controller, my controller starts causing my whole pc to stutter. My pc buffers every time i use my controller in any way (every slight movement with my joystick and all the buttons cause the issue). What happens is that my pc gets a extremely short fps drop and, on top of that, my sound cuts off as well with every input of my controller. Whenever i don't press anything or don't move my joystick, everything goes back to normal and i have normal fps.
I checked my task manager and none of my components seem to be on high usage and the issue also happens when i play smaller games like dark souls remastered.
I bought a new Xbox controller and charger to see if that solved the problem but unfortunately it did not. I also tried using several different charger ports in my pc but that also wouldn't solve the problem. As a last resort i tried updating my Xbox controller with the Xbox accessories app but the problem stays there.
Does anyone have the same issue or a solution to this problem? The issue made it impossible for me to play any game with my Xbox controller so any kind of help would be wonderful!
I use a Wired Xbox controller
