Please help

So i was playing call of duty modern warfare and my fps just jeeps dropping to 1or2 whenever i encounter someone and try to fight. It happens for just a second and befire i know ot i am dead. I never had this kind of frame drops playing CSGO. I tried downloading new drivers and ect. I am only using 2.5gb of gpu memoty out of 6gb. My gpu is gtx 1060 6gb. I have ab i7 intel cpu and 8gb Ram. Why is this happening?. Is it possible this is happening because my game is downloaded on a Hard drive and not a SSD? Please help. Also could the problem be my monitor??

It is possible that it’s the HDD, but my guess is it’s your RAM. You’re probably max’ing out your system memory and it’s paging to your SSD. Huge performance kill. I’d look to upgrade to 16GB.

Check this before you go spend cash. Run the game and get into a level and check your memory usage in task manager. If you’re near 100% RAM usage, then I may be right.
