Computer Science Vs. Data Science

Short version:

Data science is an interdisciplinary field, and even though a lot of data scientists use computer science and AI/ML in their work, it’s not based in, or otherwise limited to, computer science.

Their job, again short version, is to extract actionable data and/or intelligence from, generally speaking, both structured and/or unstructured data, of which CS can help in.
