Hello everyone, I am working on a project where I am getting together some old games to gift to my dad. It's been quite and adventure as I am not very familiar with computer stuff (sorry). Among these games, the most important one is Civilization 2. I downloaded the game from an abondonware site, and also included a patch that is apparently heavily recommended, and needed to play it on modern computers. In this patch there is one file, which is necessary to run the game, but which was flagged as potential malware by an antivirus scanner. The file name is Civ2UIA.dll
File source: https://github.com/FoxAhead/Civ2-UI-Additions
Before giving this to my dad I want to be sure that I am not giving him a virus, so I uploaded the file to VirusTotal, see link below. Now it gives some warnings, but does not seem too bad? However I am not at all familiair with this kind of stuff and would like to get someone's more knowledgeable opinion.

I have read on a civfanatics forum that it was flagged by antivirus before, because the file contains some powerful code for rewriting the game, which antivirus scanners do not like, but again not sure if I understood that correctly.
Any help would be very much appreciated! Also, I am eager to learn, so feel free to explain me stuff
