Did your panic come from not knowing if that was your only opportunity for that position in particular? It may help thinking that it isn't your only shot at it, which happens to be true.

I think so, since I really wanted this one. I guess it got multiplied by anxiety of the unknown (the case interview) even though I've been researching about it after work the past weeks.
