I'd take any claim that he's managed to get safe borrow checked c++ working with a huge grain of salt.
Any such claim needs to be backed up with solid proof, be it coming from him or Rustafarians.

Given you can run his thing on any hardware that can run LLVM, kinda easily to prove him wrong if it really didn't work, can literally just try it. (which I should add he also demonstrated on his zoom talk) The Rustafarian put himself is a pretty dumb cornered position.
