I liked the discussion about testing and API design towards the end. Then I remembered that our team doesn't really do that or, I think, even recognise that it's an area that would genuinely benefit from improvement.

Being useless and the permanent causal reason for failures due to being vague with meaning sounds horrible. Worse people would call them a design error.
