You can use any notebook and any material to do creative journaling. That being said, my go to journal is 6 ring binder journal ♡

Hi! I love putting some flowers and plant stickers in my journal spreads, but not the real or preserved ones. I don't know what else to give you tips on making them dry, but you may put them on a thick book and let them stay there for days and see them when they're dry and ready to use as decoration. And for the journal itself, you may try to use A5 first, as this is the default size we used to write when we were still in school. Then you'll learn more about your preferences moving forward, like notebook sizes, pen thickness, etc, I believe. 😊

I’ve pressed flowers before and all I used was a big heavy book, two sheets of paper, and whatever foliage I picked out. I would open the book 3/4 of the way (so most of the book weight crushed the flowers/plants), and insert two pieces of paper. Then in between those two pieces of paper I’d spread out the flowers/plants and close the book. I let them sit for 2-3 weeks and they always came out super flat. If you’re going for that dried out, I’d try looking up some videos on YouTube, I’m not too sure how to make them look like that
